Effects

Green Crack

Some people say Green Crack is the ultimate wake&bake weed because of the energetic rush it gives.

It’s one of the most “heady” strains available, and you can feel its high THC content (20% on average).

Green Crack is also effective against fatigue and depression and will make you get up and get work done.

One thing to keep in mind is this strain can cause insomnia, so it’s wise to avoid using it before bedtime.

Jack Herer

Jack Herer is also an energetic strain; many people like toking on it when they need to get work done.

The clear-headed and creative high it gives is also perfect for when you need to be productive.

The balanced high is also useful for a variety of medical conditions, from chronic pain to ADHD and depression.

Many users have also found Jack Herer to have almost no ‘come-down’ or crash, so it won’t make you start yawning.

Yield

Green Crack

It’s not unheard of Green Crack producing yields of 600 grams or more outdoors.

Indoors, yields are excellent too, with an average of 450 to 500 grams per m2.

Buds are of a lime green colour with darker purple hues and appear covered in trichome crystals.

Jack Herer

Indoors, Jack Herer produces average yields of 500 to 550 grams per m2.

Outdoors is where yields can get very impressive if you let the plant grow tall, reaching up to 600 grams per plant.

Buds look like typical Sativa buds, that means a little fluffy and more elongated than round.

Grow Difficulty

Green Crack:

Green crack can be grown both indoors and outdoors.

Outdoors its ideal temperature is between 20 to 26 degrees Celsius with low humidity.

It’s essential to keep humidity under control when growing indoors because this strain is not very resistant to mould.

Even with some minor drawbacks, I still don’t think it’s a difficult strain to grow, and you’ll be happy with the results.

Jack Herer:

Jack Herer is an easy strain to grow because of its forgiving nature and resistance to mould and pests.

This strain also has a fast flowering period of between 7 and 10 weeks, which many growers look for.

All in all, Jack Herer is a strain that will reward anyone growing it, from experienced growers to newbies.

Plant Height

Green Crack:

Green Crack is a big plant that can reach over two meters outdoors.

Yet, if space is an issue, you can also train it to grow no taller than 90 to 160 cms.

Jack Herer:

Like many Sativas, Jack Herer shines when grown outdoors in the soil where it can reach almost 3 meters tall.

Indoors it usually doesn’t exceed the 150cms, and you can also train it by either trimming or LST to stay shorter.

Flavors

Green Crack:

Green Crack’s flavour is sweet with an intense fruit or citrus taste that reminds you of ripe mangos.

The exhale gives you an earthy and lemony aftertaste that lingers in your mouth.

Jack Herer:

The taste of Jack Herer is of citrus with hints of orange and grapefruit.

You can also feel some wood, pine and musk in the back coming from its Skunk genetics.

Genetics/Parents

Green Crack:

Green Crack is the result of the cross between an ’89 SSSC Skunk #1 with an unknown Californian Indica strain.

Green Cush is the name its breeder gave the strain, but Snoop Dogg started calling it Green Crack because of its strong Sativa effects.

Jack Herer:

Jack Herer is a cross of a Haze hybrid with Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk.

Sensi Seeds bred this strain to pay homage to the famous cannabis activist by the same name.

It was first released in the mid-90s and has been a crowd favourite since.
