Our Verdict Topolite Grow Tent review:
The Topolite grow tent is a bestseller for a reason. It ticks nearly all of the boxes I have for what to look for in a good grow tent. It’s built with a strong frame, thick 600D fabric, and heavy-duty zippers. Unlike other tents, It also comes in loads of different sizes, so you’re sure to find one that will fit your needs. The only major thing letting it down is that it doesn’t seem offer any kind of warranty. But even with that, Its definitely one of the best value grow tents on the market. Speaking of which check out other value tents at our guide on the best grow tent for the money!

Topolite Grow Tent Review
You probably know that using a grow tent is a good way to make your grow space more efficient. However, choosing the right grow tent can be a real pain in the ass. Most grow tents have different sizes, features and use different materials. Before purchasing a grow tent, it’s important to understand what you should be looking for. This will prevent you purchasing a grow tent that leaks light, crumbles under the weight of your grow light, or traps your plants after the zippers snap off. Here are the the key things you should be looking for in a grow tent, and how the Topolite grow tent matches up to them.
Fabric Strength / Density
The fabric used on this tent is 600D. While it’s not as thick as some of the fabric used by higher end grow tents ( Gorilla grow tents use 1680D ) it’s more than enough to keep unwanted smells from escaping and protect your plants from pests.
Size Options
Unlike many other grow tents, Topolite offers a wide range of grow tent sizes.

Before purchasing your grow tent, make sure you know the expected height of your plant strain. Most good seed banks will tell you what height you can expect your plant to be. Most of these tent sizes will require some kind of plant training to ensure the cannabis plants don’t reach their full height and get too close to your grow light.
Zipper Quality
The Topolite grow tent has large, heavy duty zippers that don’t leak any light. Good zippers are essential on a good grow tent. I once had both zippers on my grow tent snap off and I had to cut my way into the tent with a knife 🙁
Light Leaks
Light leaks are bad. They let your plants precious light food escape and they let light in when you’re plans are supposed to be on a dark cycle. This can lead to a less than optimal yield. Although one customer reported a light leak in 2017, the issue was quickly fixed and no more leaks have been reported since.
Frame Strength
Frame strength is important in a grow tent if you don’t want your tent to collapse on your lovely plants… Generally, you want to look for a steel / metal frame instead of a plastic frame. The Topolite grow tent provides metal frame parts, but gives the user the option to select plastic or metal corner connectors. If you choose this tent, make sure you select the metal corners.
Spill Tray
Topolite provides an easy to remove waterproof floor. This allows you to easily remove the bottom of the grow tent floor when cleaning up spillages ( IE after watering ) This is a lifesaver if you’re a clean freak like me!
Topolite Grow Tent Comparison
I’ve taken the liberty of comparing how the Topolite grow tent stacks up against two other very popular grow tents of the same size; Vivosun and Coolgrows.
As you can see, there’s really not much to choose from between the Topolite, Vivosun and Coolgrows tents. All of the tents are built well, with strong metal frames and thick fabric density. They also offer all the features you would expect from a good grow tent, such as spill trays, viewing windows and plenty of ventilation ports. However, the Vivosun does offer a superior warranty to the other two, so that may make your decision quite an easy one.

Is the packaging discrete?Yes, the packaging is plain without any logos
How many plants will my tent grow? One plant needs roughly 1.5 sq ft of grow space so that your grow tent does not become overcrowded. 5 gallon jugs are usually 12 inches ( or 1q ft ) in diameter.
